THE FIELD LIBRARY / SOURCES & METHODOLOGY
Clear sources. Visible limits. No invented certainty.
The evidence behind Deskrawl Build Lab, the assumptions in its planner, and the gaps that still need to be closed.
Who made this Deskrawl build resource?
Deskrawl Build Lab is an independent fan project. This first release was produced with AI-assisted research, writing and software development. No named expert, gameplay tester or official endorsement is claimed. The site has not independently playtested its example allocations.
Its useful contribution is a working allocation tool, a readable reference and an explicit record of where the information came from. Source-based explanations and illustrative allocations are distinguished from firsthand experience.
Deskrawl build data sources and observation dates
- Official Steam listing: game identity and general description. It is not the source of this planner’s talent values.
- AFK Meta Warrior talent planner and table: 40 names, caps, thresholds and maximum-rank descriptions; read on 3 October 2026. Each rank of Strength, Vitality, Armor, Critical Hit Chance and Thorn was also read through the visible planner.
- AFK Meta Life Skills page: describes a separate account-shared system. Life Skills are excluded from this release.
AFK Meta labels the source data “as of 2 October 2026.” That is a source date, not a verified patch identifier. Observing another website is not equivalent to validating the game itself.
What the talent calculator checks
The calculator checks integer allocations, recorded caps and a manually entered point budget. For tier unlocks, it requires the threshold to remain invested in earlier tiers. This conservative reachability rule prevents points within a tier from unlocking that same tier. It is a planner interpretation of the source’s “points spent” wording; the game’s exact gating and refund behavior remain unverified.
A failed refund or budget reduction leaves the previous allocation intact. Imported links must match the schema and dataset version. Unknown talents, invalid ranks and unsupported versions are rejected rather than silently rewritten.
What has not been verified
- Starting points, level-to-point conversion, extra point sources and the game’s level cap.
- In-game unlock and refund rules, including any undocumented prerequisites.
- Intermediate effects beyond the five recorded starting talents.
- Missing values and ambiguous Mana signs in the source.
- Damage formulas, stat stacking, equipment interactions, ability uptime and optimal builds.
Effects are listed individually. Percentages with different conditions are not combined into a final damage number. An unknown intermediate effect is not interpolated from the maximum, and an unknown number is never treated as zero.
Editorial policy for examples and guides
Example allocations are marked as worksheets and checked against this planner’s rules only. “Best,” “meta” and numerical clear-speed claims require comparable gameplay evidence that this release does not have. Planning guides explain a process and should not be mistaken for tested routes.
Content is written for a specific reader task: plan points, understand a reference, compare a change or inspect a source. There are no fabricated reviews, contributor biographies, player counts or community endorsements.
Corrections and evidence
A useful correction includes the talent name, current game version, rank, exact tooltip text and an image or public source that supports the change. Record whether the problem affects a value, a condition or a point requirement.

Deskrawl build update log
Initial Warrior dataset and planner
40 recorded talents, five complete starting-talent rank tables, manual point budgets, local drafts, share links and illustrative worksheets. Dataset: warrior-2026-10-03-r1. In-game verification is pending.
Future data changes must use a new dataset identifier when their meaning changes. Old links are rejected visibly until an explicit migration is implemented; their allocations are not silently reinterpreted.
